I am very happy to be part of this program. I have learned valuable skills and gained the confidence to communicate and connect with others. Thanks to LOIB Empowerment Initiative, I now feel ready to take on new opportunities.
I am from Amayor. I came all the way from Amayor to learn how to make bags and shoes. For this bag, I used mako, leather, jeans, and a zip. Another design I made used leather material, mako, jeans, and a zip for decoration. Before this program, I didn’t know how to make bags, but when I heard about the LOIB Empowerment Initiative project, I was so glad and excited to join. I have learned so much, and now I can proudly make this type of bag on my own. I believe I can use these skills to build a future for myself. Thank you.
I am part of this amazing project, LOIB Empowerment Initiative. I focused on bag making and shoe making, learning how to cut and create shoes. Before this, I knew nothing about making shoes, but now I can proudly say I can make them from scratch to finish. I’m truly grateful to LOIB Empowerment Initiative for giving me this opportunity.

I came all the way from Akerebiata to High Court to learn how to sew through the Half-Retail Project. Before this, I didn’t know how to sew or cut fabric. Now, I can make clothes, shirts, and blouses in different styles. I’m grateful to LOIB Empowerment Initiative for giving me this platform to learn and grow.

I came all the way from Olunlade to learn fashion design. I have learned how to cut and sew blouses, skirts, gowns, and even a half-coat, as well as how to cut a padded gown. Before this program, I couldn’t sew very well, but now I am improving every day. I’m happy to be part of this program because it has taught me many new things and helped me grow in my skills.

I joined this program to improve my fashion design skills. Before, I struggled with cutting and sewing, but now I can confidently create different outfits, from simple blouses to beautifully styled dresses. I came all the way from Ninja Road to learn how to make turbans. Before this, I had no idea how to make them. When I heard about the project, I was excited to join, and now I can create different types of turbans. These are some of my works the switchboard, the headband, the oil spot, the double single block, and the auto turban. I can cut, draw, and design these styles with confidence. With these skills, I can start any business I want. I feel blessed to be part of this journey, and I thank God for the power, energy, and motivation.
